Pastor Michael RodriguezSenior Pastor at GBC

Pastor Rodriguez has a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University.

A word from the Pastor,

I was saved by the grace of God, out of a life of sin, and drugs, in New York City. Two years later, as I was serving the Lord in the children’s ministry, God called me to surrender my life to fulltime ministry. I attended Bob Jones University to study the Word of God; it was there that I met my lovely wife, Lisa. After graduation we were married and moved to New York City, I became an assistant pastor at the Manhattan Bible Church. Four years later, God called us to start a church in Miami and we founded Templo Biblico de Miami. We served the Lord faithfully for 15 years and many souls were saved and discipled for His glory. In 2002 our church merged with Gladeview Baptist Church. For the past 15 years our church family continues to grow and be a lighthouse in our city. My passion is sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on a personal level, as well as from the pulpit. It is my desire and calling to bring this transforming message to each person I meet. As Romans 1:16 says, “…the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”.
